I really enjoyed this episode. It was more broad and less deep than most, but it teased out lots of plot threads in a really exciting way.

Thanks, Scarybug. All the threads are starting to converge, now. There aren’t many episodes left!

Hey, I just realized “Inosculum” is an anagram of “Lion Mucus!”
Sorry, I’m bored today, and don’t have anything intelligent to contribute.
I just stayed up all night catching up to the current episode, now on my second pass through all the podcasts. Gail was right, it was worth it.
Oh yeah…. I Know Who The Vagabond Is… Nyah, nyah nyah, nyah nyah!!
“Bond. Vaga Bond.”
OK, I really should get some sleep. It’s 9 in the morning and I’ve been up for 24 hours. It just kind of happened! I think my body is telling me I should live in Australia or NZ. Love it down there, I really do. I’m tired in the day, and wide awake at night. Yeah. Yeah, that’s it. Oh yeah.
I was just thinking abou ZZZzzzzzzzzzz…….
Mrs. Vibeeen says, Oh the poor dear, sleeping like an angel, he is. I’ll just click this submit button for him.

Wow, tough room!

In real life, Gail is always right.:) Online, it isn’t always true, just usually.
I thought for a minute you were on to something I hadn’t figured out, but Vaga Bond? Pfft, I’ll wait for the next installment.
I believe Zan has gone incommunicado so that he doesn’t inadvertently give anything away. Ha ha, as if!
I don’t know what happened to the rest of the usual suspects. Winter holiday?

Hi Gail!
Thanks for saying hi! I really had been up for a long time, and was feeling pretty slap-happy and spontaneous. “Bond. Vaga Bond” just popped into my head as I typed, as a silly thing the vagabond might say to someone confronting him in the Bulwark. But I do think I know who the vagabond is. I just didn’t want to spoil it.
I’m all up-to-date with the latest episodes. I’m liking it a lot. It’s interesting how Zan left himself so many ways to end the story!
July 27th, 2007 at 10:46 pm
That’s why they call it punch-drunk.
I’d like to discuss this Vagabond notion you have. There’s no proof that anyone else is reading just now, doesn’t that make it OK to say who you think it might be?
(I will disagree, just as a matter of form.)

Now that Vibeeen’s comments have reached their intended audience, I’ve decided to remove his speculations about the Vagabond for the benefit of anyone else who might not want to see them.
I actually didn’t think it was that hard to figure out who the Vagabond was — like the traitor.
The story doesn’t depend on shock value from those surprises, but there also wasn’t any reason for me to give them away earlier than necessary.
July 29th, 2007 at 4:39 am
I’ve been -SNIP-ped! How rude!
You confuse me, Zan. You’ve approved comments from trolls, but you censor conversations between fans. I even put spoiler alerts around my thoughts. Harumpf, I say, sir! Harumpf, indeed!
July 29th, 2007 at 10:08 pm
Now, now, don’t get cranky. I’m sensitive about spoilers - I don’t want anyone seeing them accidentally. I knew Gail - your intended audience - had read your comment, so I didn’t think it needed to remain.
July 30th, 2007 at 8:38 am
Oh. That’s OK as long as Zan did it on purpose.
July 30th, 2007 at 10:49 pm
OK, Gail, but did you tell me how amazingly insightful I am? I didn’t get to see that! LOL!!!! (I actually hate “LOL”, but what am I going to do?)
Zan, it’s been fun guessing with Gail and others what might be coming up, but if you’d rather we didn’t, I won’t. I think that’s too bad, because it’s part of the fun. It gets repetitive saying, “Wow!” all the time.
July 30th, 2007 at 11:09 pm
Um, sure, I did! But listen, if I were Zan, “wow!” would be good to read, even often, but I’m sure we get extra Brownie points for expanding on that theme!
July 30th, 2007 at 11:37 pm
Firstly, having you say ‘Wow!’ all the time doesn’t get boring for me.
Secondly, OK, maybe I overreacted; I just didn’t like the idea of someone accidentally seeing something which might spoil part of the story for them. As I said before, I didn’t have any problem with the message going to its intended recipient.
Anyway, Vibeeen, as I’ve clearly hurt your feelings, I’ll give an undertaking to leave all future comments intact (I can’t actually reinstate the ones I deleted).
July 31st, 2007 at 9:22 am
Wow!
Zan, I overreacted too. I came here expecting an enjoyable reaction from Gail (perhaps admiring my godlike prescience, though more likely razzing me for missing an important detail), so “-SNIP-” was a bit of a comedown. All the moreso because you’re more tolerant than I would be of less-polite posters, as I said.
I really appreciate your concern about my feelings. Thank you. I just needed to get my initial reaction off my chest, since the alternative for me is doing a slow burn. I wanted to avoid that, because I really like being part of the BYU/Corridor community! In short, you are the author, and we’re lucky you’ve shared this wonderful (did I say, Wow!) story with us. I respect and understand that it takes some of the fun out of it when people guess your secrets. So, I’ll keep a lid on my guesses, out of respect and gratitude.
If you do this again, perhaps a forum would be nice? If it’s easy to set up. I’m sure you could get a fan or two to moderate it. I’d volunteer. That way, there could be a “Guess the Plot (Possible Spoilers)” area for those so inclined, which would be easily avoidable, too. Too bad Wordpress doesn’t include that.
I hope you have more stories! What will I do if you don’t? No, I’m sure you do. They’ll be great.
Wow!
And truly, thanks.

Wow, guys, cut it out already!
A forum is a nice idea. Until then, the only godlike _presence_ on this blog is Zan The All-Knowing and All-Seeing Author of The Book. We bow to the will of Zan.

What? Cut what out? Are we getting to muuuushy for you!
We’re sensitive, new-age guys, right Zan? Zan? OK, maybe I’m alone on this one, I don’t want to speak for anyone else.
Con mucho sillyoso,
